When reframing beats cropping
A straight crop throws away part of the picture and often the subject with it. Reframing rebuilds the shot for the new shape instead.
One shoot, several placements
Take footage you already filmed and prepare it for a different placement without filming it again.
Keep the subject in the frame
Reframing works from the whole picture, so the important part of the shot does not have to fall outside a fixed crop.

Is this different from cropping?
Yes. A crop cuts the frame down, while reframing generates the clip for the new shape based on the whole source.
Can I reframe a video I generated in Luma?
Any finished clip in your library can be used, along with footage you upload yourself.
When do I see the credit cost?
Once the clip is added and the ratio chosen, the exact credit cost appears on the action button before you submit.
